Finding decent speakers, and in particular 2.1 speaker sets, on a budget can be a difficult task - However, with a US retail price of $50 Eagletech's ET-AR504LR-BK 2.1 speakers are perfectly poised to fit this market. Can they deliver above and beyond this low price point?

Quote:
Starting out with inputs, you have a couple of options available here, with the ET-AR504LR-BK capable of accepting connections via either stereo RCA jacks or a single 3.5mm input. There's no way to switch between these inputs on the music, leaving you needing to use one or the other ideally. Audio is then output to the two satellite speakers via a pair of RCA jacks, clearly labelled and colour coded for left and right.

Thread resurrections aside, I actually ordered this unit for myself today -- it's the only PC speaker system I could find quickly that has a remote, which I need for my purposes! :o

I'm going to be using this for the new HDTV I received for the bedroom on my birthday, so a non-attached remote of some sort is a must. Plus, I'm kind of a bass-head, so I won't mind the extra low end.

Well, I cancelled my Amazon order and bought them at Fry's once I realized that they had a pair. Hooked them up, but the volume is very low. After doing some research online, it looks like I'm going to need an pre-amp/mini-amp for this setup. :?

EDIT: Nevermind, got it fixed -- they sound good for the price! :D
