Hanners has posted a news article.

It's time for another retro review, and today Layden has taken a look at Amstrad CPC title Rampage.

Aye, great fun was had by me playing this many moons ago (actually had this on cassette for my CPC, although I never saw it like the screenshots here... I had a green screen monitor for my CPC) My eyes were never quite the same after that monitor experience.

Never played the Amstrad version, but used to have a blast playing on a friends' Atari ST... He wasn't a great fan of my party piece with this game though, which was being able to punch fast enough that when he was dropped into the game from the helicopter, he was dead before he hit the ground...

Thanks for doing Rampage. I had it way back when on my Atari 520 STFM, and the graphics were certainly better. Also, plucking people from windows and eating them never got old. :)

It's still a fun game. I had a blast playing it again after all these years. Thanks for the kind words chaps. :)

Played it on c64 and nes occasionally... but it seemed kind of pointless, no variety at all so I ended up playing like a level or two and then changing to other game.

I found the same thing when playing alone (same versions of the game too hehe), but if you have a friend playing with you the game was much more fun for some reason.
