Hanners has posted a news article.

It's been a long time in coming, but a shiny new version of Mozilla's Firefox browser is now upon us.

I don't know if it is meeting the 6x faster then Firefox 3 claim, but it certainly seems faster. :)

Anyone elses 'menu bar' stay the same rather than being amalgamated into a single button?

My Tabs bar moved above the address bar. Right click and deslection of "Tabs on Top" corrected that. Whatever theme I was on before didn't survive the upgrade so I had to move some of the buttons around also.

But your menu bar, is that all under one drop down button now? Or are the File, Edit, History, Bookmarks, Tools and Help menus still text links?

Edit: Never mind. "disabling" the menu bar um, enables the new menu bar....

Hm - I haven't seen anything in this that makes me want to quit using Chrome by any means.

Ah yes, disabling the menu bar sticks it all in one button. How, erm.....useful. :|

I don't think I've ever tried Chrome. Is it better than Firefox?

I like Chrome as a browser, but it's still sorely lacking in the extensions I need on a daily basis.

I suppose every browser has it's plus and minuses eh?

On a positive note, I just discovered I can highlight a plain text url and open it with the context menu without having to copy/paste! WIN!

I found the orange too distracting on the new OmegaButton so I found an addon that just makes it clear called "App Button Clear". Happy now :D

I really like the new look, but it's not really that much faster. I'm just waiting for the day when I can move my Chrome tabs (getting closer, there is support to do it, but it's not completely useful).

I just got it this morning and got it to where it looked sort of like my old FF 3 install within about 15 minutes of fiddling, I can live with it now. :)

So much space up top showing my desktop. Anyways after putting it at full screen and unhiding the toolbar, I can live with it.
